It's 'So long for now' at Kent's Glory Days.

Jerry Springer stopped in after a campus lecture. Congressman Tim Ryan made a campaign stop there. And Playboy named it College Bar of the Month shortly after its 2001 opening. But Glory Days in Kent is shuttering its doors on North Water Street this weekend and heading into a two-story building on South Water Street at the end of the month. The club's specialty is body shots: generous pours of booze lapped out of barmaids' navels. Even cash-poor coeds manage to get tanked -- if they donate their undergarments to the lingerie collection behind the bar. And the drinks are dirt cheap: $1.50 for a Long Island Iced Tea, for starters. Glory Days' farewell party starts at 7 tonight at 252 North Water Street in Kent; call 330-677-0700.
